While we will probably never end up locking ourselves out of our garage again (fingers crossed!), Jeff is definitely our first choice for any other lock-related issues in San Diego. 5 stars for service and customer service.
I called two other locksmiths referred by friends – the first never returned any of my calls and the second closed during the work week at 5 p.m. I chose Choice Locksmithing based on these Yelp reviews. Was not disappointed! I lost the keys to four small safes and our storage shed. Jeff responded quickly to my call and was in touch via text – I appreciate that! He came to the house and did a great job! He's knowledgeable and efficient. His van has all the equipment to get things done on the spot. I highly recommend Jeff.

Ugh. Locking myself out the front door is such a hassle, but when the garage keypad fails too. Sheesh talk about adding insult to injury.
I noticed the listing on yelp search and was going to leave a voicemail at the number. I promptly got the "Sorry, I can't talk right now" text message. I replied with a lockout service request, but he said he was out of town.
Oh well, no locksmith services this time. I like the quick text ability, and I appreciate the text response so that I could continue my search for an available vendor.

AWESOME service! I had an after hours lock emergency and Jeff was on my doorstep less than 30 minutes after I called. The deadbolt on my door randomly decided to malfunction and the door couldn't be locked. Jeff was able to fix it super fast. I had another issue with the door being out of place and he fixed that issue while he was here. It was about $100 for everything (parts, labor, service call) which is very reasonable – especially considering it was after hours.
He was fast, friendly, professional – and very reasonably priced.
